The midwife said Loesje is perfect and "Kindje" is doing well, we had a look around the birthing ward and in one of the birthing rooms. "Kindje" was not too happy with the machine that calculates its heart rate, and started to move around frantically.

31 Weeks, 9 weeks until "Kindje" is due, we had our last Antenatal class this week with the main topic of conversation based upon breast feeding, expressing and bottle feeding. The house is feeling more like a home, with the DVD's and CD's now out in the living room and our good dinner service and glasses have now been upacked for the first time since we moved.

30 Weeks, been to the shops this weekend looking at everything the baby needs! We have brought a pair of baby monitors, cot and changing table. The dining room has been given a lick of paint to freshen it up, the ceiling now looks white instead of smokers yellow!

29 Weeks and 2 days old. Our second visit to our Antenatal class this evening, we learnt about the type of pain and about the different options for pain relief during birth, and we also covered the scenarios of premature and late births.

We went to our first Antenatal class this evening, where we discovered that Loesje has been experiencing Braxton Hicks Contractions. We also found out about the stages of labour and what to expect during those times.

28 Weeks and 1 day old! Less than 12 weeks till the due date.
